Impact of Organizational Behavior for Conducive- myassignmenthelp

Question: Discuss about theImpact of Organizational Behavior for Conducive Work. Answer: Introduction Organizational behavior is defined as the field of study in which the conduct and behavior of people is studied within teams, specifically in an organizational setting. Organizational behavior is essential in order to establish a conducive work environment and to build up the productivity and efficiency of an organization. (Robbins and Judge 2012). The report outlines the fact to make a reflective assessment upon the impact of organizational behavior upon my thinking, behavior and approach both as an individual and as a team member. A discussion about the positive impact of organizational behavior upon my thinking, behavior and approach both as an individual and a team have been attempted in this report to highlight the subject matter. Discussion The learning of organizational behavior helps a person to gain knowledge about the impact of different principles on social behavior within an organizational setting. These principles can be individual persons, team members and organizational structures. Organizational behavior study is regarded as an inter-disciplinary study. A person studying organizational behavior simultaneously gains knowledge about the subjects of management, communication, philosophy, social science and few other relevant subjects. According to me, organizational behavior is a study, which is very important to develop harmony, goodwill and cooperation in human beings. It also helps to minimize any dissonance and disagreement in a social setting by enabling one to take swift remedial actions (Kinicki and Kreitner 2012). The Impact Of Organizational Behavior On My Thinking As An Individual Personally, organizational behavior has widened my outlook in social conduct. I have especially benefitted from the learning of micro organizational behavioral study. My thought process has evolved with the understanding that I should have a different attitude and conduct myself properly within the permissible official decorum. I conduct myself more freely and candidly in a non-organizational setting. Whereas when I enter the premises of an organization, I become more responsible, trustworthy and dutiful. My attitudinal style has become completely different which is in hormonal accordance with the organizational behavior policies. I have reformed my personality style so that I am able to work with my co-workers in a communal manner. Overall, my thinking style has become more people-positive and accommodating (Miner 2015). The Impact Of Organizational Behavior On My Thinking As A Team Member Organizational behavior has definitely refined my style of association with my team members. My moral judgment of people in a team setting has changed a lot. Now, I have started to judge people on humanitarian grounds. In addition, I have started to value the decisions from all the team members irrespective of their organizational designations since every employee has the right to participate in the decision-making process. Moreover, participative decision-making helps an organization to gain fruitful profits and cut off unnecessary losses. The exemplary success of the Japanese company Toyota can attest to this fact. Emotionally, I have become more understanding and open to any concerns of my fellow workers. I try to encourage them, guide them in their work, and get the same help and assistance from them in return. Overall, organizational behavior has led reformation in my thinking process. I have started to view my co-workers as my helpful companions in the path of our journey to ac hieve professional and organizational success. It is also true when applied in the other way as I also try to become a helpful support to my co-workers (Nahavandi et al. 2013). The Impact Of Organisational Behavior On My Behavior As An Individual The study of organizational behavior helps a person to erase any negative behavioral qualities and helps them to highlight and boost their positive behavioral qualities. Similarly, I am no exception. Every person has certain positive and negative behavioral qualities. It is an inevitable fact by nature. When a person enriches oneself in the knowledge of organizational behavior, he or she learns to bring certain individual behavior changes to bring bright positivity to the table. As a result, I have developed a happy disposition in my sphere of work. I have started to enjoy my work favorably which has been definitely noticed by my co-workers. It is also evident that, professionally, my fellow workers have also started to enjoy themselves in my company (DuBrin 2013). The Impact Of Organisational Behavior On My Behavior As A Team Member Organizational behavior has made a commendatory effect on my behavior in a team scenario. The segments where organizational behavior has affected my team behavior are in the processes of team formations, in the negotiation process during the meetings, and in my style of leadership. Teams are formed to assist the organization in increasing the productivity. My behavior in the many detailed team processes is now marked by enthusiasm and passion. My leadership style has also become more democratic and people-friendly. My negation style has also impressed my clients. In my subordinate team, I have become more approachable and in the teams where I am a subordinate, I try to keep up my level of synchronization at the highest (Moore et al. 2013). The Impact Of Organisational Behavior On My Approach As An Individual Organizational behavior imbibes a healthy approach in an individual. Individually, I have also developed a beneficial approach in my outlook. Organizational behavior had made me understood that the professional sphere is completely different from the personal sphere. One must not bring any personal problems and issues to the workplace and hamper the work performance rate. In addition, harmful stereotyping of people or sidelining a particular member is improper. I have learnt to display an affirmative approach when facing any work stress, work overload or other work issues (Pinder 2014). The Impact Of Organizational Behavior On My Approach As A Team Member Team approach is a substantial matter in the study of organizational behavior. I have learnt that it is unprofessional to display unjust power and influence over my subordinates and in general. An authoritarian approach when working in teams leads to decrease in the organizational efficiency level. The approach displayed by the employees in an organization also influences the mindset and decisions of the prospective clients. Pragmatism is equally important since not every person is the same. They differ in their capabilities, work style, thought process and even attire. Expectations must be realistic. Therefore, organizational behavior had made me learn to evolve in myself a constructive approach while working in a team (Wagner and Hollenbeck 2014). Conclusion Conclusively, it can be said that organizational behavior is a key aspect of an organizational structure. Without it, the performance level of the individuals working in an organization reduces drastically. Ultimately, in a chain of events this negatively affects the whole organization since happy employees is the key to organizational success. Organizational behavior helps the organizational members to work with each other and individually in an affirmative way in order to achieve the organizational goals. Due to this, it must be the imperative of every organization to introduce the concept of organizational behavior among their employees and encourage them to exercise the knowledge, which they have obtained from it, in the workplace.
